Busy year continued ...

I've been juried into the 34th annual New World Festival of the Arts located in Manteo, NC. Outer Banks bound the weekend of August 8, 2015 with the show dates of August 12th and 13th.

Located on Roanoke Island.

And in September I'll be a featured artist in this years Wine and Jazz Festival in Morgantown, WV.

Dates: September 19th and 20th. For you locals, this weekend event will feature several different wineries with an admission of $20/day, includes wine glass and tasting all day.

More events will be posted as I receive details.

Busy Year....

This year has been busy! I've been away from the website, but my time has been employed traveling and participating in art shows.

                         Stonewall Mountain Heritage and Wine Festival
                         Mountain Music Fest

End of the Year Art Shows

This year I've traveled to GA, NC, SC and even had an art show in my home state. I've got two last shows to close out this year. 

First in the second week of October, I'm traveling down to St. Simon's Island GA for the Fall Art show. 

And to end the year, I'm traveling down to South Carolina to participate in the Waccamaw Arts Guild Art in the Park at beautiful Market Common near Myrtle Beach the second weekend of November. 

I'll be posting pictures of the event soon. 

Featured Artist at the 6th Annual Mountain Heritage Wine Festival at Stonewall Resort

On June 14th, 2014, from 11AM-8PM, I'll be a featured artist at the 6th Annual Mountain Heritage Wine Festival hosted at the beautiful Stonewall Resort located in Roanoke, WV.

During the event I'll be demonstrating on site and will be holding a raffle for a chance to win one print piece of my work.

Please come join me at the resort on Saturday, June 14th, to view some new artwork completed exclusively for the Wine Festival. Some older pieces and newer ones will be available in addition to a limited run of prints.

First Art Shows of the Year

After a long winter, show season is finally beginning. I'll be at the two fine art shows listed below and have spent the winter creating some new inventory.

First is Art in Market Common, hosted by the Seacoast Artist Guild of South Carolina going on Sat and Sun March 29th and 30th, 2014.

Second show of the season is Glynn Art in the Park located at St. Simon's Island, GA, hosted by Glynn Art Association going on the weekend of April 12th and 13th, 2014.

Latest Oil Painting

This was a commissioned piece for a client in North Carolina. The breathtaking location is Trunk Bay, Saint Johns, in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Sorry, but no prints will be available.

We Are Here!

We're set up @ Valor Park, SC. Geared up and ready for another art show this weekend.

Weather is supposed to be in the high 60's and low 70's, which is a far cry from what we left in West Virginia.

This is the last show this season. I will update my 2014 schedule soon.

Weekend Art Show

This weekend (9th and 10th) I will be at Valor Park in the Market Common, South Carolina.

Hoping for a pretty weekend and a large crowd.

Updated Gallery

New pieces have been added to the gallery including some different mediums (conte, pencil, and colored pencil). Art show at Valor Park, South Carolina, coming up the weekend of November 9th and 10th.

I will be completing another gallery in the near future featuring ornamental ironwork. Check back frequently for updates.

So I missed the fall colors by about a week. Canaan Valley is still breathtaking in all seasons, but I had hoped to catch it during the fall splendor.

Weekend Travels

I'm off this weekend on a picture taking spree. Scenic places largely inspire my paintings. Here's to hoping that I haven't missed the Fall colors in the mountains.

The Weekend Art Show @ Myrtle Beach, SC

We had a wonderful turn out! Moved some paintings, commissioned for another oil painting, and met some wonderful people.

I wanted to give a special shout out to Kim and Tim B. for driving all the way down there for the show. It's humbling to have fans and supporters.

The next show I will be attending is @ Valor Park, Market Common, SC on November 9th and 10th 2013.

Waccamaw Fine Art Show October 5-6th, 2013

I am pleased to announce that I have been juried into the Waccamaw fine art show for the weekend of October 5th and 6th. The show is located at Myrtle Beach, SC, at the heart of the Grand Stand.

I've also been invited to their art shows for the weekends of November 2nd and 10th. Details for those shows coming soon.

Inventory includes all new original paintings, oil on canvas and acrylic on canvas. Sizes vary from 8X10 to 18X24. The gallery created for this show was inspired primarily from recent trips along the East Coast and some breathtaking locations in WV.
